CSAI Board Meeting

In attendance: Marie Brewer, Donielle Horn, Karen Evison, Jeffery Croonquist, Eve Dougherty

Fall Conference Updates:

Speakers were discussed:
- Ray Terocy from Health Mark will be speaking on two topics:
  - “Keeping Your Patient Safe and Your Hospital Out of the Headlines”
  - A second topic to be determined
- Nanosonic will provide a speaker on ultrasound probes
- Deloris from Steris will speak on the following topics:
  - “How to Conduct Moisture Assessment”
  - “How to Optimize Work Flow”
  - “Verification of Automated Cleaning Process”
- Silas from 3M will present on two topics
- Sara from Key Surgical will also present on two topics
There will be a total of 10 – 11 programs
Working on a schedule for each day
Requested that the hotel send food options
Steris will sponsor the social hour
- They will provide the appetizers
- Drinks will be on your own
Lunch will be from 12:15pm – 12:45pm and then the open vendor fair will be from 12:45pm – 2:00pm
Eve will obtain a prize for the drawing worth $100 or less
Vendors will need to complete registration forms
Eve will mail the flier to the member list and to hospitals as well as send out via email
Need certificates printed for registrants
Need two certificates for the free registration to the Spring conference – Eve will print
Need nursing CEUs from Kirkwood College
Options for the Fall 2019 conference
- Avoid the AAMI standards week
- Consider the Stoney Creek Inn
- ?Dates October 24 and October 25
