Welcome to the new CSAI website!

The CSAI spring seminar is fast approaching. I would first like to recognize our speaker sponsors – ASP, Healthmark, and Olympus for helping make this event possible. Thank you to the CSAI officers- Jeff Croonquist, Donielle Walte, and Eve Dougherty for their service and guidance. Finally, please join me in welcoming Shary Williams to the board and thanks to her for stepping into the Present-Elect position.

CSAI will be accepting registration for the spring seminar on our new website! Due to this new exciting functionality, CSAI will no longer accept paper registrations via mail. We have also  streamlined the process to accept online payment through PayPal. But if you prefer to pay by check, this may be done the morning of the seminar. The new website also has direct hyperlinks to the hotel to book a reservation with the CSAI discount. It is my hope that by providing an online registration & payment platform, it will both simplify the process and improve our ability to communicate effectively with CSAI members.

I would appreciate your input on the new website. If you have additional information or suggestions you would like to see included, I welcome your ideas.

The CSAI Board of Directors is actively seeking passionate, diverse, and experienced members to help guide the organization as it grows. It is an exciting opportunity to network both in Iowa and across the nation. We need your help and welcome your expertise to continue to improve the group efforts. As you know, “many hands make light work”.  CSAI is seeking nominations for the following positions: Treasurer, Secretary, and President-Elect. You may nominate yourself or a peer.  If you have any questions, please call or send me an email. The nomination form is available on the website. I personally welcome all those interested in joining the Board.

We have a great group of speakers lined up for the spring seminar as well as supportive vendors who will be showcasing products for our review.  While attending I encourage you to take advantage of opportunities to adopt best practice, reduce errors, follow organizational guidelines, streamline your workflow, and solidify communication. This is your chance to ask questions, get answers, and enhance your skill set. Please take advantage of the educational opportunities offered! With additional knowledge, you become of higher value to the hospitals you serve. As always, your work and the work of your team directly impact patient outcomes.
